CHALLABOROUGH BEACH is a sheltered horse-shoe shaped cove with a Blue Flag sandy beach overlooking Burgh Island, which is accessible across a sand split at low tide and via tractor at high tide. Challaborough has a good family beach, perfect for sand castles and good rock pools at low tide. Bigbury Bay is a popular holiday destination, with fine sandy beaches, a stunning coastline with great coastal walks and good access to local towns. Beach facilities include café, bar, shop, toilets, refreshments, great surfing with lifeguard cover during the summer months.
